The Rev. Marvin Harris is one of the most beloved people and preachers around.  His heart for people and personal soul-winning is almost un-matched. Losing four children to a heart disease he and his lovely wife, Dona decided to live for God and out of their depths of their pain began a Bible Study to help hurting people.  Over 23 years later, they were averaging over 110 in their home for Bible study on a weekly basis. Pastor Herbert Fitzpatrick (founder of Riverdale Baptist in Upper Marlboro, MD) noted: “Out of 55 years of ministry, Marvin Harris is one of the most effective soul winners I have ever met.”  We made it clear not to promote a specific church but we are grateful for the love and leadership of Rev. Marvin Harris, pastor of The Fellowship Church in White Plains, MD.  He has three children and six grandkids and his eldest daughter, Melissa married Steven Mason of JARS OF CLAY.  A special thanks to The Fellowship Church & Southern Maryland Christian Academy for helping us promote Celebrate Jesus!

RUTH SALMERON is Program Manager for WWGB 1030AM in Washington, D.C. Born in El Salvador and she is the daughter of a preacher and is the Praise & Worship Leader at her church in Alexandria, VA.  She was a Christian DJ for nearly a decade in Dallas, TX and presently resides in Accokeek, MD.

Gospel Recording Artist STEVIE PRATHER - For the past 25 years Stevie Prather has been delighting audiences with his God given gift of music. He has worked with artists such as "Wintley Phipps, Babbie Mason & Larnelle Harris.  Stevie was a featured soloist for MOBILIZED TO SERVE, a national Christian singles organization and he sang solo with the National Christian Choir.  He is also a sixth grade teacher with the Prince George's County Public School.  This past summer he embarked on a concert tour in Guyana, South America.  Stevie's primary purpose is to Exalt God and Edify the Body of Christ.  Stevie's brother-in-law is the respected Pastor John Jenkins of First Baptist Church of Glenarden, MD and they move into their new 4,400 seat sanctuary this summer.

WAYNE MATTHEWS is the modern day JOHN the BAPTIST.  He does more in his spare time than most could accomplish in a lifetime.  He travels to an average of 7-10 Countries per year with one simple message: “Jesus is Coming Back!”  His heart is bigger than his 5’9 frame and everyone loves the honesty and humor of Wayne Matthews.  He went on the cruise to Bahamas last year with Frank Shelton and PRAISEFEST MINISTRIES and people still talk about Wayne’s life, love and commitment to his Lord, Jesus Christ.  Wayne resides in wonderful Charles County, MD and we are blessed to have him share his testimony.

GUY LATIMER has one of the deepest bass voices in the Country and especially Charles County.  A long time singer of Southern Gospel music, he sang for years with the legendary JOURNEYMEN QUARTET all across America. Guy resides in Charles County with his wonderful children and they have three generations of musicians in their family using their God-given gift for God’s glory.  They are a crowd favorite wherever they go.

     Co Founder/Speaker FRANK SHELTON - is simply a sinner in love with the Savior. Frank was tapped by Sam Glenn in 2001 to be the Vice President of the National Christian Speakers Network and has co-authored six books.  Frank last year spoke in 19 states and was the guest speaker at Six Flags America Amusement Park for Christian Day.  He is invited to speak at revivals, retreats and rallies across America. He is also the Master of Ceremonies at the Annual Charles County Hospice Gospel Concert/Fundraiser. 

  Frank attended the Billy Graham School of Evangelism and uses HUMOR, celebrity impersonations and captivating stories that Exalt Christ and Encourage Christians. His sole purpose is souls. Evangelist Freddie Gage (considered second to only Billy Graham in soul winning in Southern Baptist Convention) noted: “In churches today, they’re only two types of preachers and churches – a soul winning church and a church that has no heart for souls.”  Frank Shelton has dedicated his entire life to pointing people to Jesus.  Recently over 3,600 people have accepted Christ following his message.  Frank will preach in Bahamas on June 4-8 with Josh McDowell, Bishop Myles Munroe, Jamey Ragle, SONICFLOOd, Nicole C Mullen, David Phelps, Crabb Family, former Heavyweight Wrestling Champ “STING” & others! 

    Frank worked 16 years on Capitol Hill and was appointed floor staff of the United States Senate in 1995 and worked in both President Bill Clinton & George W. Bush White House as a volunteer in the Correspondence Office, aide to the Governor of Maryland and Constituent Liaison/Special Assistant to now House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer, also a fundraiser for the Republican National Committee.  He knew people were more important than partisan politics.  His father, Frank Sr. was a fourth generation Washington D.C. police officer before retiring as Acting Assistant Chief of the United States Capitol Police.  Frank once considered a career with the U.S. Secret Service but God gave him a message and he couldn't keep it a secret!  Frank has a heart for people, public service and sharing God's love.  Frank is a proud product of the Charles County Public Schools and he was a graduate of Thomas Stone High School in 1990 where he played basketball on the team and was crowned PROM KING his senior year.
